Ten years ago today!

I still remember exactly where I was and exactly what I was doing when I heard that Princess Diana had been killed in a car accident. Even though I did not know her personally I felt as though she was my "Friend". I remember being a young girl and watching every minute of her wedding and wishing and praying for a wedding like that one day. I feel such sorrow every time I see a picture of her or think of her, but I know that she is in a better place looking down on her boys. She will live in my heart forever.

I watched the ceramony this morning and it just sooo sad. And like you I remember watching it and wishing we were still there so I could be there in person. She was an amazing person & soul that I am sure no one will forget.

Thanks for your visits to my blog!! I love your comments!!

I too remember where I was 10 yrs ago today!! I watched it unfold on CNN for days.

Then on Sept 5th my first son Chase was born...and I was in the hospital after a c-section and couldn't get a nurse for the life of me one night...because they were all in the staff room watching her funeral live in the middle of the night!! lol Good thing they had a good excuse!! ;)

I remember exactly where I was when I heard she was in an accident. I remember the sadness of how terrible a life so young could be cut so short. I remember that after my son was born and the anniversary of her death came around how sad I felt for them. We were both born in the same year so I think about that we were the same age. It reminds me of how life can change in the blink of an eye. Treasure every moment and thank God for your blessings everyday!
Love. Kathryn:)

Time certainly does fly. One of my greatest fears is when I leave this earth, leaving my children behind...I always think about her boys. She seemed to be a great mother and overall person. Her untimely death was yet another wake up call as to how precious life is. Thanks for this reminder Kristy!
