Go on with your lives but NEVER EVER FORGET!

I am posting this in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, those who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom and our protection and in honor of those fighting and protecting us today. May God protect all of them and all of us and may nothing like this ever happen again on our Homeland.
GOD BLESS AMERICA

BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!

It's been on my mind all morning. Someone very dear to me was involved in all of that and it was awful. I flew out there 2 months later in November and saw the site with the smoke still rising up. I will never forget it.

It almost still feels like yesterday...it's amazing it's been 6 yrs. I remember it all the time. They tried to break America's spirit, but don't they get it...all they did was make our nation stronger. I will forever be thankful for the one's who serve so that I can live in this great country with the freedoms I so easily can take for granted. Thank you for putting this out there Kristy! And what a beautiful picture-it does say it all!

I hate every year some people think 9/11 is old news...well I guess they have no conncetion to a loved one that was lost or in the war. But I REMEMBER!!!! I REMEMBER.. what I was doing that exact moment when I heard the news. At 1st I thought NO they are not talking about the Twin Towers I'm thinking...they must be talking about another building. So I turned on the TV to see. And YES! it was the Twin Towers I thought it was...and then the 2nd one hit. I REMEMBER...I also remember how everyone in US came together. I REMEMBER...sitting in front of the TV and watching them search for any survivors all day at work. I REMEMBER...it felt like the world was at a stand still for that day and how everyone seemed to be in slow motion. I REMEMBER...when STEVEN was deployed. AND YES I REMEMBER TO PRAY FOR ALL OUR TROOPS, PUT MY FLAG AT HALF MASS, AND SPECIALLY FOR STEVEN!!!!

Thank you for remembering me on my birthday because a lot of times I get lost in the shuffle of everyone remembering 9-11 that my day gets lost among the mourners. Don't get me wrong I am sadden by the day and I have not forgotten what happened but unfortunately it is on my birthday every year. So thank you for not forgetting me. Love ya!!
