My surgery date!

Hi everyone, I just wanted all of you to know that on tuesday November 6th , I will be at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio having a Total Hysterectomy!!! I have a great doctor and I am in good hands, but I would certainly appreciate your prayers for patience while I am recovering. I am not a "layer", and I know laying around will drive me crazy!!!! But I will post before that so I will be talkikng to all of you soon. Love and Blessings to all.

I've marked my calendar and will definitely be thinking of you next Tuesday.

Now, be a good girl and do as the doctor orders. Lie around eating your bon bons and watching some good ole' TV.. ;-) (to bad it's not that easy, huh)

Hi Kristy, I wish you a speedy recovery!!!! I'll be praying for you. Just remember if they offer you painkillers TAKE THEM!! I had a C-section for my son which is the same incision site as a hysterectomy and the painkillers were very effective. It really helps. Just take it easy and let your family take care of you!!
Love, Kathryn

sending you prayers - you will be fine!
I had a Hysterectomy a few years ago, and I swear to you, it was the best thing I ever did!
The recovery was not half as bad as I thought it would be.
Just listen to the doctor and let people do for you. It is your time to let everyone take care of you (which was the hardest thing for me to do!)
