San Antonio Riverwalk

Saturday night Frank and I went on a date to the Riverwalk in San Antonio. It is kind of a tradition at Christmas with us. The pictures are not great but for all of you who don't know ...The Riverwalk is downtown San Antonio and is lined with Restaurants and Hotels The river also goes thru the Rivercenter Mall and all of it at Christmas is just beautiful because of the 1000's of lights!!! I also wanted to show those of you who have never been to the Alamo, here it is. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed my date!!! I love my husband to pieces!!!!

Darrell and I did the Riverwalk 11 years ago! Julia was a baby and we spent a few days in San Antonio around New Year's Eve/Day. Thanks for bringing back some nice memories!

What a great date!!!

Andrea at Happy hippy just visited there! I really need to go one of these days! Jim Bowie was supposedly a distant uncle of ours so it would be cool to see the alamo.

Bailey's aunt brought her one fo those webkins, a frog so we needed a F name to register online so we named her after your daughter!!

I hope that stork gets here soon to! So cute!

I was stalking plenty of blogs before we left too. (I loved your last commetn!) I got so much info and reassurance! I hope i can give back even a little of what i got. Thanks so much for telling me. I would squeeeze you if i could!!

I love the Riverwalk. These pictures bring up so many memories for me. We used to spend a week at a dude ranch in Bandera, Texas every year and we always visited San Antonio...this was when I was a small child. I have also been there many times as an adult! I am so glad that you and Frank are taking time to just enjoy each other!

Well, it looks like we won't be making it to TX :( I don't know... we will figure somewhere... we need to go somewhere where it won't cost us as much... we will get to TX one day though... you don't have that Willow figurine with the baby? I did... Mike broke it's head off... well, knocked it... he wants to replace it but I said no... it isn't the same to have a 2nd one... take care

Wow -- we were at our GWCA Travel Group Reunion -- in San Antonio -- from Dec. 10 - 14, it seems we just missed you!

We did the RiverWalk boat tour on the evening of the 12th -- about 30 of us in total. Such fun!

We had a ball down there (8 of 11 families were in attendance, and a 9th family SKYPEd with us from their home in China!). What a great time.

Love your pictures, made me reminisce about our two trips there!
