Footprints....

I know these are the times that there is only one set of Footprints because I know God is carrying my family and I right now. Even though we know it is time we have been told that we should put my Momma in a nursing home. The pain that I feel is a pain that cannot be measured. You are never too old to need your Momma. Is it possible to feel like you are going to just break? So we are searching.....How can this be happening? My Mom is only 66 years old! My Mom and Daddy will not grow old together, she won't know Franceska, I have to leave her with strangers, my momma will not be at home ...my home anymore. I could go on and on. I am sorry that I am not "happy" tonight. I really need all of your prayers for my family, please pray for me to be brave and strong, I feel like a little girl right now . I'm sorry I am just so , so, sad. There is so much good in our lives but this is just so hard.

Kristy I'm sorry you are going through this and hurting. My dh and I know what you are going through as we had to make the same decision 5 years ago with my husband's mother, she was only 69 at the time. It's one of the most difficult things we've ever had to do...
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care of yourself.

Kristy, I am so sorry that you all are having to do this. I know it is hard. We had to put my dad in a nursing home when he was 49 and I was 13. It was hard then and I dont think I could image doing it at this point in my life. I will pray for yall to make the right choice and do what is best for her. We love yall. I still need to get with you soon.

Hi Kristy,
I am so sorry. I can't imagine the pain you feel, needing to make this decision.
When you said your mom is only 66, that sort of hit home with me. Mine is 69, and I cannot imagine having to go through that.
Yes, He is carrying you and will continue to do so. You are so blessed to have our Lord.
I will pray for you and your family.
Sending a hug.

Kristy, I'm so sorry to read that you are at this point in your mother's life. I work in homecare so I deal with this often. It's never a right time to have to make this decision. I'll be saying some prayers for you all that this time might go smoothly (or as smoothly as can be expected)
Blessings Friend,.
