This is what I woke up to......

When I woke up this morning look what the very first thing was that I saw when I opened my eyes.....OUR DAUGHTER!!! After so many minutes, hours, days, months and years of not knowing....finally a beautiful face to a name. We are so over the moon in love with her!!! Do you think people would think would think Im crazy if I hang a 5x7 picture around my neck and wear it everywhere I go?????????

For those of you who have been following this journey with us, maybe you remember Frank and Astrud calling themselves a Blog widower and a Blog orphan ....well wonder who was on his computer googling the map of Jiangxi and the orphanage and wanting to pay to get updated photos etc, etc, etc??????? Yes it was that same Blog Widower that really thinks being on the computer is overrated and even PRINTED pictures and got in his truck and drove 45 minutes to his moms house so he could give them to her!!!!! And the same Blog Orphan whose status on FB was "I finally got to see my little sisters face today"!!!!! Isn't that just the sweetest thing!!!!

I want to take a little bit of time to thank each and everyone of you that were so patient with me yesterday, we had alot of people here yesterday and the whole time I kept thinking, "I really need to get to the computer and post pictures, I was making myself so nervous about letting all of you down that I kinda became a little grouchy and short tempered.....yes Me I admit it!!!! So anywho I am sorry it took so long, thank you for being patient, for loving me and for loving our daughter!!! I love you all!!!! May God wrap his arms around each of you so tight that you can truly feel the love he has for you...........

Thank you Fliss for doctoring up our pictures, I absolutely love them and you!!!

I'm so happy you had a photo of your daughter to wake up to.

I did mention to you that Evan was from Jiangxi. His SWI was different but the same Province. There is a wonderful little store down from the Hotel there in Nanchang where you will be getting Franceska. We loved going there and all of the locals loved seeing us with Evan.
The folks in this area are so very sweet, and very curious.

I'll see if I can shoot you some photos of the area.

I think that a 5x7 around your neck for the next month would be just fine...lol! I got the BIGGEST locket I could find, (actually got two different ones to alternate), so that I had pictures "on me" at all times.

Enjoy every precious minute!!

For real? I love you so much and was about excited as it gets to see the pics and hear the news, but the LAST thing I expected was for you to be thinking about your computer friends first, lol! Give yourself a break and enjoy what you have waited on for so long! You are so generous with your time and your love.....it's OKAY that you took time off of the computer! lol Love you!

Have you stopped staring at her photo for like 12 hours a day yet? Ha ha. I know I did that when it was our turn.
Big hugs and hearty congratulations to all of you.

Why not? You've waited long enough to see that beautiful face.

Isabel is also from Jiangxi. I loved my week there.

Can't wait to follow along with you.
(Still waiting to see my cousin's daughter's face. Still nothing. Pure torture!!!)

I am so happy for you...SOOO happy! I cannot wait to see her in your arms Kristy...you have waited so long. Greg and I were talking last night and we were DTC in August/2006 so we would STILL be waiting if God didn't lead us to Emma Jane. You were patient my friend...and He has blessed you.

Don't make excuses for your happiness. You deserved every single second of it.

I am so happy for Frank, too. Eddie has finally gotten a spark in his eyes that I haven't seen since we started this process. I hope we can Skype sometime soon and Eddie and Frank can meet. I think some encouragement from one dad to another would help him out a lot.

I have been following a lot of adoptions, but yours and Fliss' are personal to me. I feel like you and I have so much more in common than just our adoptions -- we are raising children and moms.
I hope we can talk soon. Love you!
