Our oldest daughter Chas moved back to Lubbock to go to school and she is living with her mom and is doing great, BUT we miss her so much. Chas and I have a tradition on Christmas Eve , we wear matching pajamas and we use our "Santa" coffee cups and here they are waiting ....SHE'S ON HER WAY RIGHT NOW AS WE SPEAK......I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I finally found it and a look back.......

Every year I get an ornament made with ALL of our names on it and I have never been able to find one with enough spots for us , our kids and grandbuttons But I did this year!!!! I was so excited!!! With this being our 5th , yes I said 5th year without our Franceska home for Christmas , I thought I would show you her ornaments from the years.........

I made this one thinking she would be home in just 8 or 9 months time........Christmas 2006

This one says , "Still Waiting"........Christmas 2007

The next two were for ......Christmas 2008

And this one I found yesterday and I thought it was just Perfect since we ALL seem to be waiting on that darn STORK!!! It say "Parents to be, Tiny little packages...Great big Love 2009", I just love it so much and I am thinking this just might be the last Christmas without her.......OH PLEEEZZZZZZ!!!!!!

The girls annual Christmas picture.....

Astrud (in middle with white sweater) and her best friends always take a Christmas picture and then make cards to send to friends and family and here is this years. We love these girls so much, they are part of our family. They are "ours" , and each of their families think the same way. We are all good friends and we are so blessed to have these girls in our lives. I love watching our older kids interact with these girls...I love it!!! (From left to right is Jena, Emily, Astrud, Chelsea and Alyssa.) This is my absolute favorite!!!!

A little explanantion.........

I am sorry I have been MIA lately! I have been checking in on all of you but just not leaving many comments. I know all of you are busy just like us this time of year. There seems to be so many things going on within our church family, parties here, play practice there, church under the bridge, christmas shopping etc. etc. etc.

There are family members that have been sick, Astrud had her wisdom teeth cut out, I had some oral surgery (thank goodness the sutures are gone!), along with some other dental stuff , things are progressing rapidly with my Momma and the list just never ends!! And the one thing that never leaves my mind is I am constantly wondering what the people below are doing????????????

And I have been having alot of testing so I can get on Bio Identical's to stop the Towering Inferno of Heat that is raging in my body!!!

(Actually that's a lie , Im 42!!)

BUT, this is such a joyous time of year. We all must remember the true reason for this season....And that is the baby that was born in a stable, the one whom was born for us , to save us and that is Jesus Christ! I am so in awe of HIS love every single day of my life. May all of you continue to be blessed by HIS love , and my prayer for those that do not know HIM personally , I pray that you meet him soon, HE loves you more than you will ever know. HIS love is Perfect, HE is sovereign,and HE is infinite in HIS wisdom. Merry Christmas to all of you!!!! And God bless you.

What God gave me....

This is a little late coming, but #1 I just really learned how to upload a video and two I guess I was a little reluctant to do this just for emotional reasons. In April , our daughter Astrud went to her first prom. She went with a really good friend from a neighboring (sports rival) town and we were excited for her. But the whole day I just had a dark cloud over me because I can remember my mom and I talking about the day I had a daughter and when she would go to her first prom etc, etc, etc,...well the day had come and all I wanted was for my Mom to "really" know what was going on. Things were not quite as bad as they are now, but sentences had pretty much stopped or at least sentences that made a whole lot of sense. I was getting dressed and Chas walked into my bathroom and I remember just losing it, I cried so hard because I just wanted my momma to share this day with me. WELL.....once again God listened and he gave me what I asked for. You can hear me asking my Momma to look at Astrud and listen careful to what my mom says to Astrud, its only like 44 seconds long but that 44 seconds was the world to me.....

Today is our Chas's birthday and she is not here with us today, and shes a little further away than I would like her to be, so instead of hugging and kissing her we can tell her our prayers for her....

We pray that you always keeps HIM first in your life...

We pray that you always know how much you are loved and thought about and missed each and everyday of our life
We pray that you always know how proud of you we are and what a precious gift you are to us

When I am having a bad day , or if I am just in a bad mood, all I have to do is think about how you and I can just look at each other and "get it", or how we can just look at each other and without saying a word just start cracking up and all seems to melt away. Guess where we are going....

Frank came home the other day and surprised me with a trip to Europe in January. We will be gone from the 7th thru the 19th!!! We will see 5 countries. England, Switzerland, France, Italy and Rome!! This is a blessing that has been given to us. We have put our lives on hold while waiting for our babygirl for almost 5 years and even though we are so close this is a much needed "get away" that we both need and want. I am elated that Frank is getting this break, he deserves this so much!!!! Here are a few of the beautiful places we will get to see!!!! Can you believe it???? I can't!
