It's that time AGAIN......

Frank is in Lubbock, loading all of Craig and Traci's stuff and they will be here TOMORROW!!! And the girls all start school tomorrow. It is too weird to think that when we started the adoption process to bring Franceska home :

Astrud was in 7th grade......she is now a Sophomore

My neice Jade was in 4th grade.....she is now in 7th grade

My neice Lily was in Kindergarten.....she is now in 3rd grade

My neice Rayn was 14 months old .....she will be 4 on September 14th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW is all I really have to say to that......

OOPS! I almost forgot! Happy 28th LIDversary to us!

So HAPPY , HAPPY , HAPPY!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago our son Craig and his precious significant (hopefully soon to be our DIL) other Traci came to San Antonio and one day Astrud, Emily and myself met them out at Sea World and had a really good day. The visits with them always seem to go by so , so fast and I always leave with a lump in my throat and a really heavy heart.....BUT yesterday I got a phone call and it was Traci asking if I had a minute to talk and you would not believe what she told me????? THEY ARE MOVING TO SAN ANTONIO!!!!! I could have just screamed with excitement, well actually I did!!! I have prayed for this for so long. I love these kids so much and absolutely cannot wait until they are here. God has blessed Frank and I beyond belief.

P.S. The very last one is my favorite of all time. I love the love between Astrud and her big brothers and big sister and I was walking behind them and it just melted my heart. It was at the end of our day...Love it!!!!

Just gotta show you!!

I just had to show all of you these precious little shoes I found at Target yesterday when Kerry, the girls and I were shopping. I just absolutely could not pass them up! Aren't they just scrumptious!!!!! I bought them in a 6 1/2 so it will probably be awhile before she wears them but I just had to get them. Frank rarely or never buys Franceska anything..I think it is his way of dealing with the wait in his own way, but a while ago we were at Academy and lo and behold he walked over to me with this little putter and golf glove that he said he just had to buy for Franceska!!! This picture does not do the little glove justice but I just think it is precious. And in some way it just made my heart go a flutter, because even though he is the" silent" partner in this adventure I know that the wait is just as hard on him.

Bringing you up to date on a few things!!

First of all if you are wondering................THIS IS HOW WE FEEL!!!! To all of you other waiting mommies and daddy's is it the way you feel too!!!!! STILL WAITING

If you have not heard of Stephanie Meyer and her book series, well here it is. Astrud, Emily, Jena, Joan ,Sara and myself have started this obsession that apparently the rest of the world has started also. I myself had never really read books of this nature before, I am kind of a "Love story" kind of girl. Well this is actually a love story but it is a story about Vampires and Werewolves!! And it is so addicting. As we speak Joan and the girls are on their way to Borders for the Midnight release of the fourth book. If you have not started reading these books , you just gotta start!!!! The first book is Twilight, 2nd is New Moon and the 3rd is Eclipse. On December 12th Twilight will come out as a movie!!! And the 4th book coming out tonight is Breaking Dawn.


This is my new 2008 Chevrolet Equinox, mine is Golden Teal Metallic and I LOVE IT!!!!! Now all it needs is Franceska.
This is Frank's new truck. It is not this color, it is Chevrolets new color which is a blue, but a different kind of blue. It is really pretty. It is a Z71 Silverado and he is like a little boy with a new toy!!! We were spending close to $700.00 a week on gas in Frank's work van and it was killing us, so we had to do something. And two weeks later we decided to trade in my trooper, it had 142,000 miles on it. But it was so hard to leave it behind I love that vehicle, but Frank said, Oh get over it, it is TIRED!!!!
