Astrud went to her 1st Prom this past weekend. It was at Marion High School which happens to be our biggest rival. Always has been dating back to the 80's when I was in school. Who would have ever thought that is where my daughter would experience her first prom. She went with a very nice young man named Dustin who drives over her to be a part of our Youth group at church every wednesday. Here are some pictures from the big event.

She looked very, very pretty! Loved the dress color and her hair. Prom prep is so fun. Such a princessy good time.
My son has prom this weekend. It will be interesting to see it from a boy perspective this time.
Did your husband go to Tech? I spotted that shirt immediately. :) We are originally from Lubbock, and my husband went to Tech.
He has lots of relatives in the San Antonio area and was born there.

Astrud looks beautiful!! Love the dress and hair. And her date is so cute too:) Oh, isn't hard to let them go??? I can't imagine. . .babies one day and proms the next!!
